We love your kids, but the official events of our wedding weekend are not suitable for young children.

WHERE SHOULD I STAY IN MIAMI?

Check out our Travel tab for up to date information on hotel blocks, airports and additional hotels we recommend that are not in our room block. If you choose to stay somewhere outside of our hotel blocks, please make sure to allow ample travel time to our venue as there can be traffic. Lyft/Ubers are plentiful in the area. We recommend aiming to arrive at the venue no later than 3:40 pm.

Check out our Weekend Events tab for a complete schedule of events. There are no planned events for Sunday beyond informally recovering by the pool/beach!

WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE FOR THE WEEKEND'S EVENTS?

For Friday's Welcome Drinks | Beachy Night Out

Guys: nice jeans or khakis, button down or quarterzip, sandals, boat shoes or nice sneakers.

Gals: sundresses, jumpsuits, sandals or wedges.

Bottom line: something fun and comfortable to enjoy a few drinks near the beach!

For Saturday's Wedding | Miami Cocktail

Guys: tie optional, jackets preferred. Dress shoes or dress sneakers.

Gals: Cocktail dresses, jumpsuits or dressy separates. Sandals, wedges or heels but make sure you're ready to dance!

Bottom Line: It's a wedding, but it's Miami! So dress to impress and have fun with it - colors and fun prints highly encouraged! The venue has a concrete floor so all shoes work but make sure you're ready to dance the night away!

IS THERE TRANSPORTATION PROVIDED FOR THE WEDDING?

Shuttles to the wedding will depart at 2:50 pm SHARP from 22nd and Collins Avenue (next to the W hotel). It is about a 5 minute walk from our hotels.

There is NO return transportation after the reception. We recommend Uber/Lyft when you are ready to depart the festivities or you can even walk if you feel like it (about 20 min walk).

WHAT'S THE WEATHER LIKE?

This is a great time to be in Miami with average temperatures in the mid-high 70s during the day, lower humidity and little rainfall. We expect temperatures at night to be in the high 60s/low 70s. Make sure you pack a swimsuit as average ocean temps are 74°F.

All of the wedding events are outside. There is possibility of some wind so having a sweater or light jacket handy at night is smart!

I'VE NEVER BEEN TO MIAMI. WHAT DO I NEED TO KNOW?

Lyft and Uber are plentiful in the city. Many hotels in Miami Beach offer beach cruiser bikes for rent. The area of Miami Beach is also walkable either via Collins Avenue or the beach walk.

If you do venture south to the heart of South Beach, please be aware this is the most touristy area of Miami Beach. Another thing to note about Miami Beach is most table service restaurants automatically add an 18% gratuity to checks.
